Curtains is a side-splitting Broadway musical comedy where murder meets musical theatre – and the result is pure showbiz gold. Set in 1959 Boston, the story begins on the opening night of a brand-new (and not-so-brilliant) musical called Robbin’ Hood. When the show’s talentless leading lady drops dead mid-bow, it’s up to the charmingly awkward Detective Frank Cioffi, a cop with Broadway dreams of his own, to solve the case before the killer strikes again.

As the cast and crew scramble to save both the show and their necks, what unfolds is a hilariously campy mash-up of mystery, romance, and razzle-dazzle. Packed with catchy Kander and Ebb tunes, witty wordplay, and a script that pokes loving fun at the world of theatre itself, Curtains proves that sometimes the only thing more dramatic than a murder is an opening night.
