Highway Companion is the most authentic tribute to the entire sweep of Tom Petty’s career from his humble beginnings in the deep south with his band Mudcrutch, through the vast catalogue of material he recorded with The Heartbreakers. The show includes his solo material, and the songs he wrote and recorded with the industries biggest stars in the Travelling Wilburys. The stories, the look, and the sound of Tom Petty is recreated by a six piece band that has painstakingly studied and deconstructed the songs, their history, and their production. The Highway Companion show takes audiences of all ages on a journey through the life of America’s most treasured songwriter.
