Little Shop of Horrors

Written & Composed by: Howard Ashman & Alan Menken
Directed by: Hannah Dolson
Assistant Director: Mackenzie Williams
Musical Directors: Tony & Michelle Proracki
Head Puppeteer & Choreographer: Naomi Auld

In this darkly comedic musical, meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn discovers a strange and exotic plant with a sinister secret. Named Audrey II after his co-worker crush, the plant thrives on a diet of human blood, leading Seymour down a treacherous path of moral dilemmas and desperate actions. As Audrey II’s demands grow, so do the stakes, culminating in a thrilling blend of rock music, humour, and horror. “Little Shop of Horrors” is a cult classic that explores themes of ambition, romance, and the consequences of unchecked greed, set against the backdrop of Skid Row’s grim urban landscape.

Lynwood Arts

Lynnwood Arts is an active space for workshops, events, children’s programming, and exhibitions. It’s a vibrant, welcoming space that is inclusive and accessible to people of all ages. It houses a permanent collection that contains over 800 works and features major Canadian artists such as William Ronald, Tom Hodgson, Robert Cadotte, and Alex Colville.

Simcoe Christmas Panorama

The Simcoe Christmas Panorama has grown to more than 60 displays and 500,000 lights. Hundreds of decorated trees and our displays turn Simcoe’s downtown parks into a winter wonderland that generations have been enjoying for over 60 years. Come experience the magic and enjoy horse drawn trolley rides, character meet and greets, and a warm cup of hot chocolate while you walk under the lights at the Simcoe Christmas Panorama River of Lights!

Lights are on from 6pm to 10pm nightly from Nov 30, 2204 to January 1, 2025.
