Lighthouse Festival is committed to making arts accessible to our youth and is pleased to sponsor the tuition for two (2) youth for the Young Company each year. Sponsorship consists of coverage of the entire tuition fee of five hundred and twenty five dollars ($525.00) for entry into the four (4) week program. Lighthouse offers this tuition sponsorship for two youth who are new to the Young Company program to support those who may experience barriers to participation as we believe art should be accessible to as many members of our community as possible.
Applicants must be successful in their audition to the program to be considered for the tuition sponsorship.
Applications to the sponsorship program will remain confidential.
To apply for one of the sponsorship positions, youth must complete the following:
- Be between the ages of 11 and 17
- Be new to the Young Company program (not having participated in the program in the past)
- Sign up for an audition spot (can be completed by contacting the Lighthouse box office)
- Auditions will be held on May 21, 2026 from 4pm – 8pm
- Complete the application form and application questions and submit to the Lighthouse box office prior to audition date
- Be able to arrange transportation to and from Simcoe Little Theatre (33 Talbot St. N, Simcoe) for the dates of the rehearsal period.

Aug 19th – 22nd – Performance Days – youth must arrive 1 hour prior to show times
Aug 19th – 11am and 2pm show times
Aug 20th – 2pm and 7pm show times
Aug 21st – 2pm and 7pm show times
Aug 22nd – 2pm show time *youth will stay to help strike set and props and have a celebratory pizza party.
