The Lighthouse Festival Community Show is back!
Next April at the Lighthouse Theatre our community stars will have a chance to shine again with the Community Show’s return. This is an opportunity for you to be a part of the Lighthouse Festival magic, supported by our team of professional designers and crew members. It’s an incredible glimpse into what being a professional actor is like, starting with the audition process.
Auditions open on October 13th, from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm for Clue The Musical. Anyone over the age of 18 can audition. Just call the box office at 519-583-2221 to book your spot!
Aspiring actors will not be asked to perform a monologue or sing a musical number at this audition. Instead, they will be invited to have a casual conversation with Lighthouse Festival Artistic Director, Derek Ritschel, about the character they would like to portray. Meet the characters for Clue The Musical below!
The host of the game, the current husband of Mrs. Peacock, and the victim of the impending murder. Mr. Boddy has a unique relationship with each of the Suspects that informs the audience of each character’s potential motive to commit murder. Mr. Boddy is a smooth, charismatic, handsome, playful host.
Widow and chairwoman of Peacock Enterprises, married to Mr. Boddy and cheating with another character in the show. She’s an acerbic, manipulative, socialite.
A genius, author, intellect, and impostor. His family fortune was ruined by Mr. Boddy. An astute intellectual with a wry sense of humour.
A femme fatale, a former Las Vegas lounge performer, and former lover of another character in the show. She’s a shrew and very attractive.
Fancies himself a triumphant war Colonel. He is implicated in the death of both of Mr. Boddy’s parents and is currently having an affair with another character in the show. He is a pompous, military man with a strong personality.
Chief domestic of Boddy Manor; she is virtually enslaved by Mr. Boddy. A fun-loving, dirty, rough around the edges Cockney maid.
A con artist and entrepreneur, he is a former lover of another character in the show and a business partner of Mr. Boddy. A slick, strikingly handsome wheeler-dealer.
Appears to crack the case and solve the mystery. She rebuffs Prof. Plum’s amorous advances; she is hard-nosed, snappy and humorous.
