Meet the Cast | Fuschia Boston as Liv in Come Down From Up River

Fuschia Boston as Liv

We chatted with Fuschia about playing this character, what she’d do on stage next if she had a magic wand, and how she spends her down time during rehearsal.

Q: What sort of person is going to love this show?

A: Come Down from Up River speaks to a wide demographic through all three characters and truly gives everyone something to relate with. People who enjoy dynamic characters dealing with some difficult situations wrapped in comedy, will love Come Down from Up River!

Q: Is it easier to play this character or to be yourself on stage?

A: I always meld myself into the character I’m playing so I think it’s more about the choices Liv makes are more difficult to play than just myself on stage.

Q: When you have a five minute break during rehearsals, what do you spend your time doing?

A: If I have five minutes during rehearsal, I look over my script for what’s coming up, grab some water and check my phone!

Q: What’s the biggest challenge about taking on this role?

A: Liv takes a lot of endurance and has sections where she jumps from thought to thought rather rapidly. The swing is extremely fun to play but also feels a little bit like mental gymnastics.

Q: If you had a magic wand, what show would you do next?

A: If I had a magic wand I would turn a solo piece I created into a play and perform that next!
